Vision Commercial Kitchens

Client: Vision Commercial Kitchens provide a complete commercial kitchen service encompassing design, planning, project management, fit out and support. We've been working with Vision Commercial Kitchens since 2002 and have seen the business grow from a start up to achieve revenues of several millions. During that time we've supported all Vision's on and offline marketing activities working as a virtual marketing department. This long relationship has enabled us to build real intelligence on the business and their markets and to make a very proactive contribution to their marketing strategy.

Project: Through the ongoing production of project case studies, we recognised a market segment which Vision had been working in successfully, but hadn't fully exploited. This led to a campaign targeted at garden centres, which we'd learned often make more profit from their coffee shops than selling plants and garden furniture. Vision put together a neat 15 day turnkey coffee shop installation service and we devised a campaign incorporating a dedicated microsite, blog, targeted emails, direct mail and 'the vine' membership scheme adopted by the HTA and GCA as the only approved catering supplier for garden centres. The campaign has been highly successful leading to dozens of enquiries and over 20 delivered projects.

Bullen Healthcare Pharmore Plus

Client: Based in Liverpool, the Bullen Healthcare Group was established in 1858 and supply a complete range of ostomy products. They offer a home delivery service providing stoma products and prescription appliances to Ileostomists, Colostomists and Urostomists throughout the UK.

Project: Following a pitch process, Bullen asked bd2 to launch a new service called 'Pharmore Plus' which provides home delivery of prescription meds and ostomy products - a new concept to combine both services. We developed a marketing campaign featuring various 'things' that naturally work well together as a series of simple visual metaphors; tea and biscuits; hat and gloves; and, to kick-start the campaign, Keith Harris and Orville. All of which were supported by the most succinct and appropriate of straplines: 'better together'. The campaign included press ads, promotional packs and devices. We now provide a full range of creative marketing services across numerous projects for direct mail, advertisements and brochures.

Company Shop

Client: Company Shop provides an outsourced logisitics service for many leading manufacturers including Nestle, Heinz, Premier Foods and Arla to dispose of their 'residual' stock. This service includes the operation of physical and virtual staff shops.

Project: We provide a complete marketing support service across all media including websites, e-mail campaigns, POS, direct mail, presentation materials, internal communications and literature to both their consumer audience and to the businesses they target also encompassing strategy development. We work very closely with Company Shop providing dedicated support and an on-demand design and production service to handle promotions as their offers often include short coded product which needs to be sold quickly.

Vernacare Tuffie5

Client: Established for over 40 years Vernacare specialises in the design, manufacture and supply of products to hospitals to reduce the risks of cross infection. Their products are used in over 90% of all UK Hospitals and more than 40 countries worldwide.

Project: Vernacare supply ranges of wipes for cleaning and disinfection of hard surfaces, equipment and non-invasive medical devices. These include 'Tuffie 5' wipes which are multi-surface sporicidal wipes which eradicate all major pathogen groups including Clostridium Difficile, Norovirus & MRSA; 'Tuffie' Disinfectant Wipes which are used for non porous surfaces; and 'Tuffie Detergent Wipes', multi-surface cleaning wipes for areas where general cleanliness is required quickly and efficiently. We have a devised a series of direct mail campaigns working closely with their inhouse marketing department to promote the Tuffie ranges.
